LET CDA SYSTEMS HELP YOU WITH FILTRATION
Compressed Air Filters
Depending on the level of air purity required, there are different types of filtration used. Particulate filters remove solid particles, coalescing filters remove lubricant and moisture, and adsorbent filters for tastes and odors. A particulate filter is used after a desiccant-type dryer to remove desiccant dust remaining after filtration. A coalescing-type filter is recommended before a desiccant- type dryer to help maintain the desiccant bed.
Downstream air filters remove contaminants, such as particulates, condensate and lubricant. Each compressed air application is different and downstream air filters will minimize pressure drop and energy consumption. Elements should analyzed to reduce pressure drop and replaced during annual services.
